1.Fill all the details in sign up form and then proceed with the online slot booking (except Sundays/Holidays/Third Saturday of every month).
2.Every registered user has to make a note of his/her registration id(Eg. RegXXXXX) sent to your mail id which should be produced for all future references.
3.Confirmation for your slot bookings would be given 2 days prior to the slot date.
4.If inconvenience caused in visiting CIF/CAIF , user can send the sample through postal /courier services to the address mentioned in the contact details . Before sending the sample user must book online slot.
5.Only after completion of booked slot the user will be allowed to book another slot for the particular instrument. However the user is free to book slot for other instrument.
6.Requisition form has to be obtained from the CAIF office, MIT Manipal before making the payment.
7.Payment has to be done before submitting the sample through online/card(Student Finance, MIT Manipal). Online payment details will be communicated via email.
8.In case of cancellation of the slot, the user needs to inform CAIF three hours prior to the allotted slot time or on the previous day for the first slot in the morning to Innovation Centre office via telephone(0820 -2925055/9686695437/0820 - 2928801) or email (caif.mit@manipal.edu) (caif.mit@manipal.edu).
9.Failure to inform CAIF of the slot cancellation or not turning up for allotted slot without informing CAIF will attract a penalty, where the user will be blocked from booking any additional slot for a period of one month.
10.The analytical data/spectra are provided only for research/ development purposes. These cannot be used as certificates in legal disputes.
11.Submitted / confirmed slot date shall be changed or cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances such as breakdown/maintenance of the instruments or technician unavailability.
12.Separate samples should be sent for different analysis.
13.Samples will not retained unless a special request is made.
14.Radio-active material, unstable, explosive compounds are not accepted for analysis.
15.To get the results of SEM, AFM and UV- VIS- NIR he/she should bring his/her own unused CD. Pendrives or any other such Hard Disks will not be permitted.
16.User is requested to report the respective office/lab within stipulated time
